Ready to Serve
"Ready to Serve" is The Salvation Army's newest discipleship program that features a 3 year Bible based curriculum, as well as daily at-home web-based followup.
When: Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:30 A.M.
Where: At Scarborough Citadel, in the Chapel
Requirements: Open to all children in grades 2-6
Teen Bible Study
This is a Bible-based, discipleship program for teens. All are welcome to join in the fun, learning and fellowship!
When: Sunday mornings, 9:30-10:30 A.M.
Where: At Scarborough Citadel, in the Teen Room
Requirements: Open to all youth in grades 7 and up
"Promiseland" (Sunday School)
Our Sunday School program takes place during our regular worship services. Children leave the service and have their own program of Bible education and worship. They receive large-group instruction (object lessons and singing) and also spend time in smaller, age-based groups.
When: Sunday mornings, 11:30-12:15 (times are approximate)
Where: At Scarborough Citadel, in the multi-purpose room
Requirements: Available to all children from JK to Grade 6. Visitors welcome!
Helpers are needed to set up, clean-up, teach & crowd control. Volunteers must have a police check and on-line training as mandated by The Salvation Army.
Women's Bible Study
An opportunity for adult women to delve into the Word of God and join together in prayer.
When: Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:00 A.M.
Where: At Scarborough Citadel, in the Chapel
Requirements: Women from the Corps (church) and community.
Thursday Bible Study
An opportunity for adults to delve into the Word of God and join together in prayer.
When: Thursday evenings 1:00-2:30 P.M.
Where: At Scarborough Citadel, in the Chapel
Requirements: No prior knowledge necessary, just come with a desire to learn more about the Bible. All are welcome!
